FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What sort of ID do I need?

We need government-issued photo ID so that we can make sure nobody other than you is trying to pick up your badge, or register in your name. A driver’s license, state-issued ID card, or passport is usually sufficient. If you do not have any of the above, we still need something with your photo on it that will confirm your identity and your date of birth. Contact the Registration department if you are unsure.

I am under 18. Can I register online?

If you are between 13 and 17, you are more than welcome to pre-register for the convention with your parents’ permission. However, in order to pick up your badge, a parent or guardian must accompany you to our registration desk or else sign and notarize this minor consent form for you attend. If you are under the age of 13, a parent or guardian must also register for the convention to accompany you.

The minor consent form is not valid unless it is signed and officially notarized, and you must provide the notarized form at the convention. Information on how to notarize a document can be found here.

I just realized that I am not going to be able to attend, how do I get a refund?

Registrations are non-refundable. (Up to one month before the convention we accept requests to transfer a membership to another person. The new attendee will be required to provide proper ID and all required registration information.)
