Fur The More annually brings over 1,000 attendees to the Tysons Corner area, who substantially stimulate the local economy. Over the last several years, we have developed close bonds with the businesses within immediate walking distance. We hope and desire to further expand our impact on additional businesses as we continue our efforts in creating a fun, safe, and family focused environment for our fandom.

Well, here’s your chance! Become a Fur The More sponsor! We provide a wide range of opportunities for you to promote your business/event within our convention. Ranging from postings from within our convention book, signs posted throughout the con, and “Attendee Direct” promotional products, we have you covered for your business/event needs! In addition, there are opportunities to provide physical item donation for both benefiting our convention and/or the annual Non-profit we support.

Fur The More Sponsorship Opportunities

Descriptions

Fur The More has several ways to both aid the furry community and in promoting your business. We have several sponsorship packages available:

Convention Book Publications:

A convention book is provided to each attendee and staff member that attends the convention. It is given to them during registration.

  • Quarter Page Ad- Grayscale: a 4”x 2.75” space within the center pages of the convention book. Graphic or writing must be provided from sponsor in grayscale format.
  • Half Page Ad- Grayscale: a 4”x 5.5” space within the center pages of the convention book. Graphic or writing must be provided from sponsor in grayscale format.
  • Full Page Ad- Grayscale: a 8”x 5.5” space within the center pages of the convention book. Graphic or writing must be provided from sponsor in grayscale format.
  • Full Page Ad- Full Color: a 8”x 5.5” space within the cover pages of the convention book. Graphic or writing must be provided from sponsor in grayscale format.
  • Full Page Ad- Inside Cover/Full Color: a 8”x 5.5” space within the cover pages of the convention book. Graphic or writing must be provided from sponsor in grayscale format. Limit 2- First come first served.
  • Sponsorship Name in Book: Sponsor name is written on the sponsorship page within the convention book.

Sign/Ads Sponsorships:

This sponsorship is for signs that will be posted around the convention space, Main Events room, and directional signs.

  • Name/Business on Poster in Convention Area: Normal sized icon/name written on signs sharing with other sponsors
  • Large and Prominent Name/Business on Poster in Convention Area: Large sized icon/name written on signs sharing with other sponsors
  • Permanent Fixture Sign: These signs will be placed outside of each of the convention rooms, stating the various functions of the room (such as “Main Events” or “Market Place”)
  • Full Set of Permanent Fixture Signs: All permanent fixture signs that are placed outside of convention rooms. Limit 1- First come first served.

Attendee-Direct Sponsorships:

These are items that are directly placed into the hands of the attendees and staff members, and are high visible.

  • In-Bag Fliers – Coupons (Materials Provided): Each attendee is given a bag during registration. Your business’s coupon will be placed into by the Fur The More staff members. Max coupon size- 8.5” x 11”
  • In-Bag Fliers – Coupons (FTM to print): Your business’s coupon will be placed into by the Fur The More staff members. It will be FTM’s responsibility to print the material, but ready-to- print material must be provided by the business, by the submission end date. Max coupon size- 8.5” x 11”. One Sided Only
  • In-Bag Fliers – Materials provided: Your business’s flyer will be placed into by the Fur The More staff members. Max coupon size- 8.5” x 11”
  • In-Bag Fliers – FTM Print- Grayscale: Your business’s coupon will be placed into by the Fur The More staff members. It will be FTM’s responsibility to print the material, but ready-to- print material must be provided by the business, by the submission end date. Max coupon size- 8.5” x 11”. One sided only.
  • In-Bag Fliers – FTM Print- Full Color: Your business’s coupon will be placed into by the Fur The More staff members. It will be FTM’s responsibility to print the material, but ready-to- print material must be provided by the business, by the submission end date. Max coupon size- 8.5” x 11”. One sided only.
  • Convention Bag Sponsorship- Full Color Print: Your business’s logo/name will be printed on each bag that all attendees and staff members are given during registration. Icon can be in black/white or full color. It will be incorporated within the annual bag design. Minimum of 1,000 bag commitment.
  • Custom Hotel Key Cards- You business’s logo/name will be printed on the  magnetic strip side of the hotel key cards of our attendees. Approximately 80% of our attendees will stay in local hotels for the convention. These often become collector items and saved by the attendees. The front of the cards will have original artwork themed for the convention. Minimum of 500 cards commitment. Limit 2 orders.
  • Lanyards: A minimized icon and business name will be placed onto the name badge lanyards all attendees and staff members receive along with the FTM name. A minimum of 1,100 lanyards will be given out to our attendee base.

Material Donations for Charity Auction:

Annually, Fur The More selects a non-profit to sponsor and promote within the convention. This year’s non-profit is: Frisky’s Wildlife and Primate Sanctuary. ( www.friskys.org )

In efforts to raise money for the non-profit, we hold a donated item driven charity auction. Attendees, staff members and the local businesses donate new items of value, everything ranging from physical products to gift cards.

100% of funds raised using the donated items are provided directly to the charity.

If a donation is given, please provide us with a short description to be read during the charity auction, including the business’s name, item value, and an item description if there are any special notes for the item.

Tax receipts are available for any items donated for this purpose.

Material Donations for Attendees:

We welcome promotional items to give to our attendees in hopes of both promoting your business/products, and to provide a bonus to the attendees. Items may be a wide range of products (not limited to the convention theme) for persons age 13 and older.

The majority of our attendees range between the ages of 16 and 40, but we do have a youth department for attendees 12 and younger.

We have an estimate of approximately 1,100 expected attendees, but any amount of product is welcomed.
