At any time, Mid-Atlantic Anthropomorphic Association, Inc. (“MidAnthro”) may enforce the following:
Any action or behavior that significantly interferes with convention operations, causes excessive discomfort to other attendees, or negatively affects our relationship with our guests, venues, or the public is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in immediate and permanent suspension of attendee privileges.
The primary goal of our event is to create an enjoyable experience for all attendees. To maintain this atmosphere, we require all participants to adhere to our standards of conduct. These rules are intended to prevent disruptions and ensure that no individual or small group detracts from the relaxed, welcoming environment of the convention.
We welcome all individuals with an interest in anthropomorphic animals. However, MidAnthro reserves the right to deny, suspend, or revoke membership at any time, for any reason, including, but not limited to:
Any person found assisting a banned or otherwise unwelcome individual in gaining access to the convention will have their own attendance privileges revoked and may be denied admittance to future events.
MidAnthro reserves the right to modify these rules at any time without prior notice and retains sole authority in their interpretation and enforcement. In any dispute, the General Rule (above) shall apply.
If you have questions regarding these policies, please contact a Ranger Staff Member or event management for guidance.
By accepting a membership badge, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MidAnthro, its events, staff, and volunteers from any claim of personal injury, property damage, or other liability arising from any individual’s actions at our events, even in cases of alleged negligence on the part of MidAnthro staff or volunteers.
As a condition of membership, all attendees must abide by these conduct policies for the entire duration of their participation, including before Opening Ceremonies and after Closing Ceremonies.
We encourage attendees to consider the impact of their words and actions on others, the convention, and the broader community. If you find yourself questioning whether a behavior is appropriate, err on the side of caution or seek guidance from a staff member.
These policies address worst-case scenarios and are in place to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all attendees. They do not cover every possible situation, and in all cases, the General Rule will take precedence.
MidAnthro expects no issues, as we trust our members to be respectful, responsible, and rational adults.
