Payment & Refund Policy

 

Mid-Atlantic Anthropomorphic Association, Inc. (“MidAnthro”) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, ID #82-1071057. Donations may be tax-deductible, and receipts will be provided upon request. Please consult a tax advisor for guidance.

 

Payment Methods

 

MidAnthro does not accept personal or business checks for payment. We accept Cash, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards.

 

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

 

Chargebacks initiated without legitimate cause, solely to avoid payment, or without first attempting to resolve the issue with MidAnthro may result in:

 

    • Permanent revocation of membership privileges
    • Ineligibility to attend future events
    • Possible legal action to recover funds

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact treasurer@midanthro.org  before initiating a dispute.

 

Refund & Transfer Policy

 

Event Registrations & Membership Badges

 

  • Registration fees, membership badges, and fundraiser donations are non-refundable.

 

  • Transfers of registrations to the following year may be considered on a case-by-case basis at MidAnthro’s discretion. Requests must be submitted to registration@furthemore.org before the event start date.

 

Merchandise Purchases

 

  • Refunds are available only in cases of defective products or incorrect apparel sizes when no replacement stock is available.

 

    • Merchandise must be returned in unused, original condition to qualify for a refund.
    • Refunds will not be granted for items damaged after purchase.

 

Outstanding Balances

 

Any member with an outstanding balance owed to MidAnthro for a past event must settle the amount in full before being allowed to register for or attend future events.

 

Privacy & Third-Party Disputes

 

MidAnthro will not mediate financial disputes between individual members. Additionally, we cannot disclose personal or financial information about any member except when required by:

 

    • Banking institutions for transaction verification
    • Legal authorities under applicable laws and regulations

 

By completing a transaction with MidAnthro, you agree to these terms.
